    It’s, eh, nobody’s fault

I bid cheap on GB and won this jewel.

First Model 15 and first nickel finish in over 30 years.

It’s a -4 which should’ve left the mama ship around 78 or 79. It is smooooooth!

I think the seller is pouting. Neither the xfer dealer or I heard a peep out of him, and he didn’t send a packing slip. My guy had to go through his emails to see who was expecting a model 15.

There’s no fault when it doesn’t have a “Hillary Hole”.

    Congrats.

I love when sellers pout. It lets me know I stole one.

Solid score. I may have to get me one of these sooner or later...

I bought a guitar on eBay once. Seller pouted, told me with actual shipping costs and eBay fees, he wasn't making near the money he'd expected.

I didn't give him more money, and don't feel bad about it.

I bought a transmission bellhousing for my Sunbeam Alpine last week. It cost me $15 + $22 in shipping. That's the cheapest I've ever seen one, most of them go 150-200 bucks. Turns out the seller punched the "Buy it Now" value in wrong, meant to list it at $150, instead of $15. He was pouty about it, but I'd already checked out via eBay and paid the man, before he ever contacted me, not that it mattered to me anyways (caveat emptor has a reciprocal caveat venditor). I received my intact bellhousing last Friday, but he definitely didn't give a crap when he packaged it up and shipped, it came a three-times reused cardboard box that was nearly completely torn open.

Regardless, it makes me happy, because I'm notorious for searching endlessly for good deals on rare things. I'll spend months or even years looking for something. Whenever, I'm done with this bellhousing (I'm actually just using it for prototyping some parts), I'll list it for sale at a decent price and move on.
