    Match Champion IDPA set up

I’m looking for an IDPA legal holster for my GP100 match champion and speed loader pouches. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Kramer's # 2 Horsehide IWB, Hogue's universal speedloader dual pouch for speedloader holders is what I use for my GP100. For the 3rd pouch I use either a Uncle Mikes or Tactical Tailor reconfigured (bungee retention cord removed) AR pouch behind the holster.

Another IDPA GP100 shooting friend is very pleased with his Privateer Leather OWB holster.

    Best, Jon

I was gonna steer you toward the old faithful Bladetech classic. They make it for the 4.2" barreled GP100, IIRC. But there's some good additional info in this thread...

I use Ready Tactical. I found a link to the speedloader holders but haven't found the holster.

Fine print does indeed say he can make them custom for the GP100.

I have never used anything but a Blade-Tech holster for my GP100 match champion. For speedloader holders I use the IDPA Model from North Mountain/4wheelguns.com: http://4wheelguns.com/IDPACompliant.html

The thing about the speedloader holders from 4wheelguns is they need to have a spacer put in the bottom of the holder to raise the loader up to a better level for fast grabs, or you can cut the kydex down. I just use some cardboard in the bottom of the holder.

I use a Blade-Tech IWB they custom made for my Security Six; it's also a great holster. It works superbly for IDPA and actual concealed carry. The Security Six is stainless steel, so I'm not too concerned about the kydex marring the finish. My GP100, on the other hand, has been beautifully custom blued, so the Kramer horsehide is a bit more gentle on the finish (at least in the short run-eventually, of course, any holster is going to inevitably cause finish wear from the rubbing of holstering, drawing, and re-holstering).

Both are excellent holsters in their own right, but a gun's finish might play into one's holster selection.

And while I like the Hogue Universal Speed Loader rig for IDPA, for actual field use I'll probably use my Bianchi Dual Speedloader pouch and/or the Uncle Mikes individual speedloader pouches, due to their more secure flap with velcro closures, particularly if any significant physical exertion is likely to be involved, or if I'm on an ATV, horse etc.

    Best, Jon

This will be a range/game set up only. Going to look into the Blade-tech setup.
