Pulled the 92 G out for today's match. Not quite as accurate as the 1911, but fun giving it a go on the clock.

Nothing today. Yesterday I took an AR with a .22 top end to the range
and shot it at 25 and 50 yards. Went pretty well, I think.

Also had a S&W Highway Patrolman along. It has rubber grips and a four-
inch barrel. Hadn't shot it in a while. Used reprints of the Army Qualification Test targets.
Fired 24 rounds of .38 reloads at 50 feet. I started single action, then finished with some
DA shooting. It had been a while since I shot the HP. Don't know why
I didn't take it out sooner. Won't be as long before the next time.

9 pin rack set at 9 and 13ish yards, with red swinging stop pin.
Initial cold run was 8.87 followed by 7.41 and 5.84, which should hold as fastest time.

The red stop pin swinging in the background was a weird diatraction.

Shot both my P99C and my M&P40 1.0 this afternoon.

I did six iterations of the five-yard roundup with the P99C, from concealment using the new-to-me Safariland 6377 holster I got from @Lon. It was my first try with a retention holster. It worked out pretty well, the first one (cold) was a 92 and the rest were better...except for one on which I thoroughly screwed the pooch and ended up with a 90. Best was a 95-5x. Much better than the last session, no wacko flyers. Ammo was S&B 124-grain FMJ.

I did a couple of different things with the M&P. First was to run 50 rounds of 180-grain RNL handloads through it to ensure the load was useable before I loaded up the remaining 950 bullets in the box - my last uncoated lead for this gun, after these are gone it'll be coated. They ran fine. Then I attached the TLR-1 HL to audition the pistol for the role of nightstand gun. Its competition was my PX4 D DAO. I went through 30 rounds of controlled pairs to see how it felt actuating the light and firing. It felt much less awkward than the PX4 D's long pull, less coordination needed - always a good thing for this klutz. Shooting the DAO without the light is no problem for this old revolver guy, but two short simultaneous motions feels more natural than a short and a long one. The M&P was unemployed, so this is a good use for it.

Shot my "new to me" used CZ P10 F Optics Ready - shot about 100 rounds of my reloads - 124 Bayou Coated with 4.8 WSF in range brass and S&B primer. No function issues. I normally shoot S&W M&Ps (mostly 2.0s) so the new P10F noticeable felt "thin" through the grip - it has the small backstrap on but so do my M&Ps. Good first range session.

I finished with 50 rounds through a used M&P 2.0 Compact 9mm I picked up through P-F - no issues and it just felt right as M&Ps are my normal pistol.

I started with testing some reloads though my 6.5 Bergara. Nosler 140 CC with 41.7 gr H4350. Grouped ok - 1 inch - these were loaded using the Dillon 550 and the Dillon powder drop for practice loads.

    todays practice.

Practiced with a pair of 2011 STI .40's today.
One a long dust cover bull barrel ipsc pistol.
The other a short dust cover idpa bushing pistol.

Both are carry guns as well, with a blade tech holster.

    Around 350 rounds total.

    Match this weekend.
