They did awesome work and I finally have one of the rifles I've always wanted but thought had become unobtanium...

Theme of the day seems to be fliers. The Ruger is a laser beam though. Both targets are 20 yards.

I saw a stainless six inch Security Six in a gun store Tuesday. It was very tempting (one was my first center fire handgun)

I've changed my mind on Ruger revolvers after this one.

I mean just the security six tho.

Anyways, I vote yes and intend to enable you to the fullest extent.

Hot day, just shy of 100 degrees when I arrived at the range.

I usually don't bring a bunch of guns to the range but I went with a friend and brought them in case he wanted to try something.

He had picked up a used S&W 1911 that he ran about 100 rounds of ball without an issue.

I put 90 rounds through the old P30 on the plate rack and the 100 yard steel plate.

This was actually yesterday. 10 rounds out of my new-to-me gen 5 Glock 34 MOS using the iron sights at 25 yards to function test and see if the iron sights were on. I'm waiting for the Holosun 509T MOS plate to arrive.
I was using my prescription shooting glasses that are set up for seeing the iron sights with my strong eye and distance with the weak eye. That 8" Shoot-N-C red bullseye was pretty blurry at 25 yards. I'm happy. Should be able to shrink that group significantly once I have the 509T mounted.

    Shadow DR920

Back when AIM had their super sale on the Shadow systems guns I picked up one of those DR920 Elite's and apparently I got one of the good ones. About 2500 rounds into its life now and nary a bobble of any sort with any ammo. I am happy with the trigger and the accuracy as well.

I blew through some 115gr Blazer aluminum case stuff today and shot two of my personal benchmarks about as well as I ever shoot them. First the Rangemaster Instructor Qual, using up some of the old version targets.

Then the Rangemaster Advanced Bullseye course, one thing drives me crazy about that is I cannot make myself slow down at 25 yards as much as I should, and I usually finish in 1/3 of the par time....but there is no problem at all with this specimen of that gun. I'ma keepin this one one.

Please tell me this is hotter than usual. Please?

To the post, my iron sighted G26.5 - I did my TX LTC qualifier. Tomorrow I bundle everything up and send it Priority Mail to Austin, hopefully it will be back quickly.

It is (and has recently been) significantly hotter than usual 90s with an occasional 100 is normal. 106-108 is not.
