Yes sir. I actually just signed out from the gun range after forgetting to bring my bow also.

I upgraded the RDS on my 1187 Special Purpose to an Aimpoint Micro. I’m taking it to Greg Ellifrirz’s shotgun class this weekend so I got it zeroed with the Truballs that I’ll use if I’m able to deer hunt this season. I then put 50 rounds through my Shield Plus, mostly on 2” dots. I tried a couple different types of ammunition through my M&P22C. I let a student use it last time I taught a concealed carry class and it didn’t work with the ammunition I had brought. So far, only that one type (Auto Match) doesn’t run in it very well.
I then checked the zero on my Ruger 22/45/TacSol/Aimpoint/Sparrow pistol with the Gemtech suppressor ammunition. I thought the first three round group was a fluke so I shot five rounds at another 2” dot (at 25 yards). I was pretty happy with the zero.

I am not a member, but was there for three gun Sunday.
I will probably join one of these months (they credit your match fee if you do), I thought about it Sunday and then reminded myself I have been going through money like shit through a goose. Maybe next month...

I shot IDPA and three gun when we first started those up in the mid to late 90s. The three gun was a lot less formal back then. How many shooters typically show up?

Typically around thirty, but last couple times maybe around twenty. Dunno if people used up their ammo or something. Still doesn't seem too formal.

Really need to commit to dry fire to free up more shooting time for clays.

Got to shoot my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite and my Walther P 22.

Shot 50 rounds of Stingers in the P 22 and then 100 rounds of Blazer and 50 rounds of Aguila 40 grain ammo in the 22/45.

    Both guns worked great.

My first thought was "he won a friggin' over & under!" But from what I've seen, those Yeti coolers are in the same price range.😀

It was a happy day, but kinda sad

I got to go shooting today. It wasn’t the nicest day, cloudy, windy as could be, and I was thankful for layers.

    I took some revolvers:

I managed a 173 on the HiTS Revolver Super Test with the short barreled 66:

For grins, I did a little Spy vs Spy with the Model 60:

I didn’t shoot too long, less than a couple of hours. I was having light strikes with the 3” barreled 64. I replaced the mainspring in it after I got home and do believe that was the issue.

Had a good time, but it was a little sad. This was my first trip to the range since my shooting buddy passed away two weeks ago. I knew it was gonna be a little rough and that I was gonna miss him. Both things were true. On the good side, I got the first one out of the way and hoped they’ll get easier after this one.

Anyway, I took a little photo of the spot where he’s supposed to be at, just for the memories:

Local (sorta) long-range match at MCB Quantico. 2.5 hour drive, and a very reasonable fee for a 103-round PRS style match. Conditions were very nice: 62 degrees, overcast with calm wind in the morning, and a sunny 72 degrees with light winds at noon/afternoon.

I was very happy to shoot a score of 89. Had a few magazine issues, and a few brain-fades with led to some dropped points. I need to practice getting into position and firing more quickly. On two of the stages I left points out there, because I did not complete the stage. Room for improvement. I would have been happy with winning the match, but I placed second. Because my shooting buddy, who drove us to the match (in his Prius!) won the match with a score of 93. He cleaned 7 out of the 10 stages. Very nice shooting! Two ordinary guys in a Prius.

    Here is my rifle:
