Thread: What did you shoot today?

I put 200 rounds through the Victory and 200 through the M&P 2.0 Compact.
The M&P seems to have a little more recoil than a G19 while running the plate rack. I hadn’t noticed it before. Maybe it’s just because I was going from the Victory to the 2.0. Next week I’ll bring a G19 and my timer.

Trying out the Hornady 135 critical duty. The Wilson likes it very much

Got the chance to try out the Apex trigger kit in the 22/45. Crisper than the factory unit and a little lighter, but not game gun light. I'm ambivalent on the flat trigger but overall I like it. Now I'm pondering something like red aluminum grips. It's a sickness all right...

Better pics of the stags Zane at Lone Star Custom Grips did for my GP. I've got a set of Williams sights lined up (errr, no pun intended) so the red dot experiment is almost over.

Comparing the Glock 34 I just got to a 17.

It was too windy to sight in the red dot so I just swapped the buffer for an H2 and did a mag dump. Ran fine with less kick.

I was able to get the M&P15-22 sighted in before the wind picked up. I had a few issues with chambering the first round and the bolt locking back on an empty mag. I think it's mostly because it's brand new but I also noticed I needed to take care to get top round situated in the mag right or it'll nosedive.

Shot the Hodge with the SICO Onega and Dead Air KYMO adapter. Shift at 50 with Winchester 55 grain JSP was about 2” low and 2” right.

Zeroed the scout scope on the 336Y at 50 with Monarch 170 grain JSP. POI with the Hornady Leverloution (160 or 165 grain) was close enough to use monarch as a training round. 150 grain Federal fusion was on for windage but hit 3” high at 50.

I just got wind that my local range honors a free annual membership for the best monthly target shot at 25Y

Evidently the winners are always wheel guns & if I'm honest I don't regularly train at that distance.

    5 rounds of 124gr Lawman out of a VP9L

I was so focused on making a clean trigger press (and I can't really see the bullet impacts at that distance) I almost thought I was missing the target

And then once I could see *flyers

I am not a ninja but dang I am digging this HK

Beretta M9-22, 262 rounds in less than an hour.
still shooting right, so I finally decided tonight to tweak the front sight over. applied pressure with my thumb and it came right out. that's not good. some red loctite and it's back in what I believe is the right spot. let's hope it holds.

225 rounds today with my np3 px4 cc (mod 5), her first trip to the range. No surprises, just like my edc, except the action is just a wee bit slicker. I really like them, and think they’ve earned the positive they’ve received.
