Got a chance Monday evening to hit the range. 22/45Lite, M&P40 Pro w/Storm Lake 9mm conversion barrel, SW1911, TRP. I didn't realize how "bad" the M&P trigger was until after back to back strings with the 1911s. An Apex order will be placecd in the near future...
[/humble brag]My 8.5"x11" playing card target looked awful small at 10yds compared to the close up large by huge targets the other lanes were using[/humble brag]

Tested a new barrel on my 1187, didn’t work. I zeroed the 300 Blackout pistol I recently assembled with a S&W lower and LPK and a PSA upper. In the interest of cheaper shooting I dug an old 22/45 out of the safe and put a few mags through it. I also shot a couple cylinders through my old Airweight and a few mags through my M&P40 2.0C. Not my best score on the Rangemaster Bullseye course; I’ve been neglecting my practice.
First competition this year thanks to covid in the spring and then a move.
Shooting my new Springfield LW Champion. I felt some of my shots were pushed left. I just recently switched back to long triggers and am wondering if I should try a shorter one in this one.
I shot with @snow white and his crew. Great guys.
2x 1-hour dryfire sessions today. Can’t go outside due to smoke, and all the matches are cancelled, so I need to keep the skills fresh.

Working up loads for my new 26 Nosler X Bolt hunting rifle for Wyoming mule deer hunt in October. I am usually loading 25 grains in 223 or 42 grains in 6.5 CM. Worked up from 85 to 91 grains of US869 under a Barnes 127 LKRX. That is a lot of powder but was not as bad recoil as I expected in a light hunting rifle with a factory brake. Was leery of the large amount of powder but no pressure signs at all (yes these are within book loads from Hornady and Nosler). It is a laser and flat shooting - will not need to dial until past 375 yards or so.
Zeroed the G44. Installed a Wilson G42/43 fiber front and blacked out the adjustable rear.
Annoying part is the Glock manual contains nothing about how to adjust the adjustable rear sight.
