When I was younger, I shot the NM course. Before I went to the m1a, I shot the AR.

A Bushmaster lower and Compass lake NM upper.
That musket loved Sierra 69, or Hornaday 68 grainers, out to 600, with a pet load of 24.5 grain of Varget.

Try a half grain if your groups aren't what you want.

Nothing to write home about. Just swapped some parts and optics and had to function check and get everything sighted in again. And also the APC9, because that gun is just a hoot.

Adding a more vertical pistol grip to the B&T guns is a significant improvement. It’s like a whole different gun.

Definitely. I use the same Reptilia CQG pistol grip on my APC9. My FN15 Tac3 came with an FN marked pistol grip that I think is just a stippled CQG and I like it even better. Great traction on it due to the stippling. I dislike the traditional AR grip angle on those milspec pistol grips in general. The angle puts too much strain on my wrist throughout the day if I’m training with the gun or holding it at a patrol ready for a long time. The more vertical grips are much better in this regard. The only thing I don’t love about the CQG is that there isn’t a trap door to keep oil, spare batteries, or whatever inside the grip.

Shot a 2.26" 200 yard group at 200 with the 3x micro prism and the tac load. A 2.5" iron sight group and a 1.7" group with 77gr nosler cc over 24gr varget.

For a non free floated barrel at 200 I'm pretty happy

Yesterday I picked up a new 10/22 “LVT”. I mounted a Burris Rimfire scope and zeroed it today. Those are two three round groups with Winchester Power Points from 50 yards. I think I’m going to take it squirrel hunting tomorrow.

I also got a new S&W Performance Center Victory and put a few through it from 25 yards. So far it seems promising. I also have a Burris pistol scope to mount later.

I recently got a subcompact M&P9 and put some ammo through it. It’s probably going to be the base of a subcompact “Stack a Toe” project. I also vetted a 15 round mag for my Shield Plus.

Today's range day was wheelgun day (well, that and re-zeroing an RMR after a battery change):

The 65 is a joy. The LCR will get the job done, I suppose, but actually shooting it is distilled misery.

I'm going camping tomorrow so I took a couple shotguns out to see how Federal low recoil Truball slugs function in them. Mossberg 500 and Remington 11-87 Police

You can get much more of what you want with a kind word and a gun, than with a kind word alone.
