    Glock day.

    G48 with EPS 2MOA (red).

Boresight G19 with same EPS, Shadow System threaded barrel, Odessa 9 suppressor. About 50 rounds of Lawman 147 and Gold Dot 147. My farts are louder.

LTT G19 with same EPS, Radian Ramjet/Afterburner. There’s essentially zero recoil, and it’s actually a little disconcerting how minimally the dot moves during Bill Drills and other rapid fire. It takes a little getting used to.

New to me HK USP9c. Little bit of Kentucky windage, installed Dawson fibers, need .03 of elevation on the FS and .015 left on the FS and .015 right on the rear. I've installed numerous HK sights and had a bit of trouble centering these on the flat top of the USPc. Dawson has their perfect impact policy and has already sent out a complimentary replacement front. Took under an hour for them to reply and ship, very impressed.

Hold point was the bottom target. Mix of AE9FP and P9HST3

I just received a couple of CMP service grade 1911s.

There is no providence that these were USMC pistols, but I named them "Scarlet" and "Gold" anyway.

There's a snowballs chance in Hell that these are the pistols I FAM fired in boot camp or qualified with at the School of Infantry.

Aimed at the bottom of the pastie.

Scarlet has a bent lanyard ring.

Probably from bashing in the head of an IJA soldier on Iwo Jima.

That, or maybe getting dropped by the unit armorer.

    Gold seems to hit better.

The curse of the 1911 - a feed way stoppage - Gold did this after firing the fifth round.

I filled the magazine with five more rounds and fired them with no malfunctions.

    Magnaported Model 29, Model 6946, Model 686.

The High Desert .44 Magnums felt authoritative, but a bit lighter than some old Federals. The old stuff shot to aim, the High Desert hit about 4” higher at ten yards.

I bought this 4” M&P/RMR/Apex barrel and trigger from a forum member recently. Today I shot “Cold Heat” from pistol-training.com, then three clean runs on the Gunset two card challenge. I then shot the Rangemaster DOTM and learned I really need to work on the speed of my first shot from the draw. I shot the pictured group with Federal Champion from the bench at 25 yards. I plan on working with it some more and zeroing it for carry ammo assuming it keeps functioning reliably

Took my kid to the range tonight. She (15) smoked the OPOTA qual course. 100% and her times were well under the state time limits. Her gun is on top. I shot my new Zev frame with AIM ported top end.

I forgot that I also ran a couple magazines through my S&W 15-22. I’ve been trying to remember to at least bring a 22 rifle more often and shoot from prone, sitting, kneeling, and standing, plus improvised rests.

    Newest and newer Gs…

I shot my brand new G26MOS (w/irons) and my “retirement” G19MOS, the Thunder Ranch version. We are having rain and cool weather here in the Southeast, but that’s just good training weather! Right…
High point of this session for me was 100 points on the 5 yard Roundup. I shot it on the Hearne/Edwards “furious face” side. The G26 was shot with the BOLD irons on (optic next week) and was in the 90s. This was the beginning of the vetting process and I’m not disappointed.
Other drills/evals were shot. There was a plate rack at~20ish yards, and I confirmed the zero of the HL-X green laser, visible in the gloomy light. Touch the plate with the laser, work the trigger well and plates fall. I have started some sessions with the Pat Mac 5 second Standards. Pretty sure everyone here would do well with it-it’s 2 shots in 5 seconds at a 7 yd. “A” zone, but it’s helpful to me. I confirmed the 26’s irons and shot with 19 backup sights only.
Always work to pursue, but this was a good day with the 100 points…

Edit to add: obviously, I haven’t figured out how to orient images yet…

The club has a steel bay open generally once a week in season. I shot the 4” M&P 9/RMR, M&P45, and the FPC. When my time slot was up, I went to another bay and shot those pistols and my carry 4” M&P. I got the M&P/RMR zeroed with Winchester 127 grain. I also put about 50 rounds through the 432 UC I bought last month. Unfortunately I’ve had light strikes with three different ammunition brands so I’m going to have to send it in. I also shot the carry load and a few magazines of ball through the S&W 380 Bodyguard with no issues.
