I didn't shoot a USPSA match today, because it was canceled last night due to forecasted rain.

Yay I shot guns yesterday. I think this is the second time total I've been to this indoor range that I joined almost a year ago. My schedule has really lightened up and I am not going to be caught snoozing on it.

I am notably terrible with pistols now. I think I am both physically weaker and extremely out of practice with handguns. I really need to fix both of these things. Somehow have to squeeze that in between eating, sleeping, being a halfway decent husband....

Took my son today to shoot the p322. We put about 250 rds through it and had probably an average of 1ftf per magazine. Gonna give it a thorough cleaning and see if it helps. Also put a few magazines of HST through my 365xl and G19 to confirm the zeros. All good. I did notice that the dots on the 407k’s seem a tad bigger than the EPS carry and EPS on my 47. If the 407’s are true 6moa, the EPS’s seem about 4. Anyone else notice a difference?

Day of the Sharks (plus that other one that snuck in the case for the range trip).

Beautiful day for shooting. Wind kicked up after we left the range but sunny and just warm enough while we were there.

    I can pee outside.
About a month ago, took my wife to the range with me to shoot 22s.
She had a great time, enough so, to as me to get her her own pistol.
She now the proud owned of a 4" Buckmark, bull barrel.

Went today to sight in and run some initial rounds.
Several misfeeds, which I am blaming on her grip and a very stiff action, as compared to my almost 20 year old buckmark 5.5".
Ran about 250 rounds, she did well, but was surely limp wristing.
    It ran fine for me.
Next week we'll go again, with some CCI mini mags and some federal match to see if it runs better.

    Wheel Gun & 10/22 TD

I recently bought a S&W 617 and have fallen in love!

Shot it a lot today, and also took one of my 10/22’s for fun….

The TD is a Ruger TD receiver, Kidd bolt & trigger, Volquartsen barrel and Dead Air Mask can.
