I shot my daily carry M&P40 2.0c for a few drills, then my M&P22c and my 642. I then checked the 25 yard zero with my 5”GP100. Two rounds each of Remington 158, 125, and Winchester Silvertips. Think I’ll stick with the Silvertips for now. I bought about 300 rounds in 2004 at a great price.
Zeroed a new optic (Leupold VX-Hog 1-4) on my old 10/22.
It wa hitting left and apparently the internal windage adjustments on the old bushnell 4x had given up the ghost.
Got it zeroed at 50 yards. Then some off hand on a B8 at 36 yards, minimum for the indoor rifle range. The young RO insisted 36 yards was 50 feet .....
Then I moved to the 25 yard pistol bay to shoot some B8s. But unfortunately it was retards mag dumps ARs, M1as and 12.5” AR10 pistols day so I left in disgust after about 3 mags after one of those mag dumping at 10 yards managed to hit my target at 25.
Shot my 3rd ever USPSA match with Carry optics and likely my last for a while as I go back to production for the season.
Most of the match was a no show due to the rain storm but a few of us stuck it out. Managed a 2nd overall between two open masters, some hard cover mikes cost me the match
Despite the weather and low turn out It was a pretty awesome day with some challenging stages and great people.

I picked up a new Lone Peak action and had a 1:7 Krieger 24" barrel installed in 223 Remington.
The trip to the 100 yard range yielded some satisfactory results despite the wind
5 shots, 77 Nosler CC
3 shots, 55 Hornady SP, after the wind calmed down a bit

I shot one of my two Norinco TT Olympia pistols. These are copies of the Jaeger version of the Walther pistol that won gold for Germany in the 1930s. The one issue with these pistols is spare parts, especially magazines, due to the ban on importation into the USA. The design morphed into the Hammerli 208 and S&W M41, and the S&W magazines can be modified to work in the Norinco copy. I tried a modified S&W M41 magazine in the pistol with mixed success. Works fine with five rounds or less; stovepipes when feeding with more than five rounds. It looks like the added notch holds the magazine a bit too high. I will be opening up the bottom surface of the new notch this weekend. Luckily the magazine is still usable in my wife's M41 even if it ends up not feeding well in the Norinco.
The good news is this pistol has an amazing trigger. The bad news is I think I need a new Rx for my shooting glasses as I struggled to focus on the front sight. The best news is any day at the range is a good day, even a day with more than a few stoppages.
No pics allowed at indoor public range, so this older one will have to do:
Utilizing S & B M193 55 grain, basically a function test.
It certainly works! Iron sight offset is weird to an old Mil-Surp guy like me.
Target #6 was me aiming at the bottom edge of #3 at 25 yards, offhand & rapid fire, using the Sheriff of Baghdad sling. 4 rds touching makes me hopeful.
I do *really* like the LaRue MBT-2 trigger. Very crisp and the reset is very much like my long-gone and much lamented 1891 Mauser carbine.

I picked up a 1965-vintage M1200 earlier this week. Other than some barrel blemishes...scratches that look like front sight rubs from a safe-mate and some surface rust spots...it looked to be unfired (the previous lubrication had turned into a shellac). Took it out yesterday to function test and pattern...
No "Peacful Protest" models in the '60s...
I'm going to find another stock and a corncob forend and save the original wood, install a mag extension and put it into bedroom/truck gun service.
