Thanks! I went from the MKII to the MKIV so I sort of had a blackout during the MKIII era. I didn’t know there was a factory slabside MKIII.

I havent shot pistols in a while and I suck. Had a good time however. Pistol cans are neat but I think next time will not oly shoot suppressed. Not quite the same experience.

What kind of suppressor is that on your 19?

I shot my new USPSA LO gun for the first time yesterday, an MPA DS9 Limited Optics Comp. It has the default S2 grip texture, which I found to be a bit too aggressive for my taste, hence the skateboard tape, which mostly fixed the issue. I've got a section match a month from now and only two local matches before then, so I need to dryfire a bunch more than usual to get used to the gun.

    LOL! You're absolutely right.

    But I'm not ...

CGS Mod9SK. It’s not terribly quiet but it’s very light ( aluminum with a steel thread adapter and first baffle, most distal parts are aluminum) and doesn’t significantly alter the handling of the pistol vs most other pistol cans I’ve tried. No problems with gas or crud to my face and everything cycles just fine thru it because of the shorter length and lower back pressure

The temperature came up to the middle twenties this afternoon so I tried the playing card thing with my Shield Plus. I got all the hits but was a little over the five seconds.

I then shot the Rangemaster Baseline Assessment, scoring 183/200

I wanted to shoot up the carry load in mt 43C so I shot the HiTS Snubby Super Test, scoring 133/150

Just picked this one up after work today, and put about a box and a half through it this afternoon between work and going back for a parent meeting.

A few months ago, Midway had the small Bushnell dots on sale. I installed it on a Shield Plus and zeroed it yesterday at 25 yards.

Before I left I tried the five yard /five shots with it.

I don’t expect it to hold up to hard use like an Aimpoint or Trijicon but I’ll work with it to see if I want to invest in a better dot on these smaller guns (I have an ACRO on a full size M&P 9)

I also shot the Rangemaster seven yard standards with the iron sight Plus I’ve been carrying, scoring a 90%, and shot the carry ammo out of the 43C

Monday morning I got to a local indoor range for the first
    time.

Shot a Colt Woodsman, Charter Arms Pathfinder, three inch,
    and a S&W M&P Compact. All .22s so I didn't have to pick up
    brass.

The S&W had the best sights with three white dots that were
easy to see. The Woodsman was next. The Charter benefited
from orange nail polish on the front sight blade.

The Woodsman had the best trigger of the three.
The S&W was next. The Charter was shot double
action a fair amount and that is a different trigger
    altogether.

The range has been open for a while. But I have been
off indoor ranges for a while too. This one is
small but very well ventilated. I'll be going back.
