[QUOTE=11B10;924354]At the risk of appearing foolish for someone my age, I fired a couple of rounds from my carry pistol (pictured above) off the diving board and into the deep end of my parents' swimming pool. Then I jumped in and got the bullets off the bottom of the pool. I did the same thing with some Black Talons twenty plus years ago. The Gold Dots make nicer mushrooms, but the little cutting wings on the Black Talons are pretty neat. If a bullet stops in ~16 inches of gel, I figure there's no way it'll hurt anything after passing through eight feet of water. To be clear, no one was in or near the pool when the shots were fired, either this weekend or in 1996.
Took my boys out for some range time yesterday...
Ryobi 18v...uses the same batteries as alot of my other tools. I picked it up after seeing a guy with one on my previous range trip.

I rolled with the green dot MRO because I have to be different and special. If anyone is wondering, it's the exact same as the red MRO. Only green.
A sharp eye might notice the Elf Tactical push-button safety. I thought I ordered black. I accidentally ordered stainless, but didn't care enough to exchange it. Functions 100% fine. You could argue that it's a different motor control if you're used to the toggle safety. I can't say there's a compelling reason to get it or not to get it. But personally, I kinda like it.
