Zeroed the IWI after a return trip to the factory due to a bad barrel.

    PA SLx 3x, AE223. 5-10mph crosswinds.

Happy with the results, consistently shooting the 10 and X ring on a B8 at 100 yds.

The trigger was pretty rough, so I swapped in an ALG ACT.

Great day to be on the range.

I wasn’t aware (or more likely forgot) IWI was in the AR game.

Good but rainy match. I won CO by a healthy margin, and placed 2nd overall, despite yet another doublefeed malfunction. Grr. I’ve replaced extractor & spring, and done a detailed cleaning. Mag springs are next.

One stage required a reload right to left on the 180.

All alphas on this 3-per target stage.

Three gun tomorrow, and I have a suspicion they will bring out an MGM Spinner or two.
They did last month and I had an opportunity to use some of my old trapshoot "backup" shells (as in backup way back behind the 27yrd line...) I have been dragging along for a year, and they worked great! So well that it got me wondering if maybe they were too fast to be legal (must be <1300fps) so I clocked a few of them and we are all good:

Also good light for the chronograph, and I clocked some of my G2 carry rounds and they are right there with my reloads with 4.5gn of Longshot, a little over 1k out of my 5" M&P. I actually did this prior to the shotgun, just to make sure all was well before I blasted off any of my shells I want to save for tomorrow.

Then I stopped and bought beer....

Came out in 01/20, rough time for a new AR pattern rifle. First barrel couldn't hold 12" at 100yds. Very promptly replaced with a new URG. This one shoots much better. Should see some more use tomorrow.

Record heat here today. So what do you do after teaching a Range Safety Officer class? Why, step out in the sun and practice in the hottest part of the day, natch.

Beretta 21A Covert pistol with ThunderBeast .22 suppressor. I used some Federal Punch .22 Long Rifle ammo, and some CCI .22 Shorts.

As hoped, the Punch rounds cycled the action. And also as hoped, the .22 Shorts did not cycle the action, making it ridiculously quiet.

    Nice.

^^^Yes. And who cares about a Beretta? It's the TBAC can that's exciting.

Finally got to put some rounds through my K6S Target, SA Garrison .45 (the want for the new 9mm version is strong now) in addition to the MKIV 22/45, TRP and sighting in the RMR on the converted-to-9mm-M&P40 CORE

Trying to figure out if using 2 different loads was causing the iron sight groups to be worse than the dot groups, I shot another set, all with CCI SV. Nope. My eyes suck and on the first re-shoot with the dot I lost focus and strung them out.

Results from last week had me beating all 17 shooters in irons, and all 9 in optics division.

Looks like I'll take the class win. Pretty solid league, enjoyed watching folks improve over the weeks. Next week we feast!
