Yea, so it was actually $5.00, cause that’s all my wife allows me to spend on Guns. Amazing the collection I’ve amassed at $5.00 a piece......... 😁
Just when I die, make sure ya’all fuckers show up quick and don’t let her sell my shit for what I said I paid for it......
You can get much more of what you want with a kind word and a gun, than with a kind word alone.
Not today but yesterday. I *might* have shot the barrel out of my 6933. It was keyholing real bad, I dug into the steel case Wolf stash so it could be the ammo but I've ran the same Wolf through it in the past with no issues. I'm gonna take some good ammo with me later this week to confirm. It's it done, I can't complain. It's been a workhorse.

Shot this Sunday and will be shooting it again tomorrow. Smith & Wesson 617 .22. I'm also taking my Model 10 .38 with me. I need work getting use to trusting my sights during the trigger. Big difference now using an almost 9 pound trigger on the 617 to the 1.7 pound trigger on my Black Mamba.
No pics but did shoot the Colt M4 back to 400yds in 20-25mph wind
Learning holdovers and wind calls with the Vortex 6-24x50 FFP.
Amazing how much things move when wind is acting on you and the bullet.
Also, the Bushnell 1700 LRF is pretty slick.

Stock G17 Gen 4 with factory sights in USPSA. See how I did tomorrow. Slow, broken toe so no running for me.
I’ve had a spread of RL15 and 175gr Speers sitting on the shelf for almost a year. Looking for a nice basic utility load that’s soft shooting for the wife, accurate, but still has enough ooomph. Finally made the time to put them on cardboard today. Looks like 31.5gr should do nicely. Lever guns never go out of style.
Working diligently to enlarge my group size.
Today was an especially rewarding day at the range because I got to take my classmate. He is not a gun guy - the last time he went shooting was when I took him in our first year in the program (Summer 2015...). We had previously planned this trip but he asked to postpone as the shooting in Boulder was close to where he lives. I was of course understanding.
Today we finally rescheduled. I asked in advance what guns he'd like to shoot, and he seemed most interested in my ARs, so I brought my 16" SPRish gun, my Sionics Recce, and the aero 11.5" SBR I use for hosing steel case wolf. Also brought a few glocks - my roland thing, G17 w/Octane 45HD, and i think my glock 48.
He was extremely curious about the guns and really enjoyed shooting them. In addition to safety, we went over the basics of the AR15's action and operation, which he clearly loved. Started shooting seated with my SPR, evenetually moved to the Recce which we shot off barricades and other positions. I also made sure he got to dump a few mags of steel case through the SBR too.
We talked extensively about various types of proposed gun regulations, including the historical 1994 AWB, and in the context of shooting these rifles himself, clearly didn't seem to think AWB style legislature made any sense. He also agreed that basing gun control off mass shootings, when the vast majority of violence is committed in in the inner cities (literal or figurative) with handguns by "garden variety" criminals. Not sure he'll go out and buy one (good for our current pricing panic as far as I'm concerned), but I definitely won some hearts and minds today. We shot probably more ammo than I would have on my own.... but it was well worth it.
Top to bottom: Colt Govt. Model, Model 19-4, Model 14-4, Colt LW Commander. Both 1911s are .45s.
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.
