Took off a few hours early to shoot my duty gun/gear. Shot the FAST, a bunch of Casino Drills and a DT at 5 yards. Haven’t really shot for a few weeks and it shows. Best run on the FAST was a 5.82 clean. Best run on the Casino was a 12.67. After a few runs using 7 in each mag I started randomly loading rounds into 3 mags. Best run on that was a 13.40. 49/50 on DT. Damn WH shot got me.

I’m really digging the Holosun 507c.

I had replaced the target grips on the Model 15 with a set of Thai combats. Those worked fine with HKS speedloaders, but not with Comp IIs. I got a little too aggressive in removing wood, so they were trashed. I got a set of open-backstrap Goodyears and they seem to work.
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.

And I finally got a red dot on my V51 SBR. It’s not the most practical thing, but it brings the thunder. I need to put the fix stock back on it. The HK slider is tolerable on an MP five but not on any sort of G3.

Also shot my Styer SBS 300 win Mag. I don’t really have any practical use for a 300 WSM lightweight hunting rifle but the thing is so ergonomic and accurate I always talk myself out of sellling it.865 PRC fitted for a bipod and a suppressor would probably be a lot more practical.

    Rented a G19.5
Did some shooting with my MKII, and P30 prior.
However, this group was shot cold at 25 yards. I went back and checked my spreadsheet, and noted I had exactly 55 rounds through Glocks in the past 5 years.
90-1x I defaulted to my top edge hold on the x. Did not review target until the string was finished. With preferred sights, and a taller front, this could easily be mid 90s

    What did you shoot today?

Got flooded out after a few hundred rounds. It’s biblical. Or something from Winnie the Pooh.

I shot a hodgepodge of ammo through my 870 to make sure it shot birdshot to the same POA as buck (it does) in preparation for a class Saturday with Steve Moses and to get rid of onesies and twosies of ammo sitting around. I also put 100 rounds of S&B 124-grain hardball through my carry PX4 because it's been a few months since I've shot it; I've been using my training gun most of the time and the last month or so has been all J frame all the time. I pulled the slide off, wiped out the unburnt powder, re-lubed the frame rail tabs, ran a bore snake through the barrel a couple of times, reassembled and reloaded it and it's back on duty.

Federal 147 grain HST at 7 yards.

I also shot my S&W 43c, but can’t seem to upload the file. Unlike a lot of folks, I have good luck with mine. I shoot cci HV or SV. As is generally the case, the SV is more accurate.

I have no idea why there are two images and they’re sideways.
