No prob. Just putzing around the woods by my house.

I need to spend some more time with my 1911s.

Not like I expect people to do my Googling for me (I tried...), but what is the deal with the grip tape (?) on the scope?

Don’t know the why, but it looks like hockey tape maybe?

Like people wrap around the grips of their compound bows.

To offer some grip when using the scope as a handle, or protection when rubbing on a barricade while shooting PRS style matches.

My wife's oft-maligned Smith & Wesson M&P Shield .380 EZ. 50 rounds of Armscor 95 gr FMJ at 25 ft.
Fun to shoot, looks like I have to move the sights a wee bit right. 2 cents' worth of gorilla tape solved the magazine issue.

My Beretta PX4 Compact. 50 rounds of Federal Syntech 150 gr TSJ at 25 ft.
Also fun to shoot, the one in the 8-ring was a DA pull. If Storm Tracker is watching, I'm still on the 10# hammer spring, still no hiccups.

Finally got my woods gun put together. Sad to say but red dots look like a permanent accessory any more. The group is off the bench with the two flyers called. This 29-2 isn't as pretty as the one I sold but it may actually be the better shooter.

Yep. Black athletic stretch tape. Simply serves to protect the scope cosmetically from rash and abuse. When I shoot off barricades and such, I might bump it getting into or out of position.
