Not a great trigger by any stretch of the imagination, but I was running the playing card challenge in the sub-4 second range consistently (the first part of a different drill).

Definitely. The matches seem to be getting progressively better. This one had a bit of cognitive load and multiple solutions. I will say that I did choose poorly at least once.

Mostly jacking around with my MAC9 DS but this got some love too. There's something beautiful about a well used gun.
If you're not going to learn to use the front sight properly, don't bother with it. If pointing the gun, screaming "Ahhhhh!" and cranking on the trigger is all you can learn to do, work on doing that safely. -ToddG

Yes, I like just enough cognitive load that it makes me think but not enough that it makes me screw up...

Got a few mags in with the new blaster. I'm loving this full size steel 9mm thing. It shoots like a dream. Me? I shoot like a nightmare. But, my hands didn't hurt, so I'm pumped.

Quick trip to the range this morning with G19 and the p322. Lately I’ve been running a slightly modified version of “The Test” cold to start things off and get a baseline. The local range only has 7 & 15 yd lanes for pistols, and like lots of others doesn’t allow drawing from the holster, so I run it at 15yds, 10 rds, 10 sec from a low ready. Not the tightest group ever, but a good run today, 99-6X.
P322 is running much better since I started downloading the mags to 17 and making sure I’m lowering the follower enough to allow loading the rounds without having to press into the previous round in the mag. 17 seems to be the point at which this method stops working, so that’s what I do. Still an occasional ftf, but out of roughly 150 rounds today I only had 3. It’s a very accurate gun with everything from Remington bulk to CCI standard to Aquila. I think I’ll probably swap the 407k for a 507 at some point, that 6moa dot is a bit big for the 22 when you want to make really precise shots.

Just put some rounds through the p2000sk now that I installed a flat trigger courtesy of a member here. I may need to get one for my p30 next because it rocks. Obligatory 20 yard group below is the last 3 rounds I had in the box. The gun shoots really nicely and I love the way the flat metal trigger feels. It breaks way more predictably and feels very consistent to the point that it makes calling hits and misses easier.

I shot my pretty much box stock 17.4. Ran doubles drills, X drills, Failure to stop, WHO/SHO and finally some group shooting waaaayyy back at 10 yards.

I put on some in service for a couple probation officers today. I was using my M&P9 2.0 Compact from an open carry Safariland ALS paddle holster. We started with the Five Yard Roundup and the Rangemaster Baseline Assessment course. I then demoed the five yard card drill. Personal best for me. Later I shot the carry ammo from my Bodyguard 380, and about 25-30 rounds from my 632. I’m going to need to move the rear sight a bit to the right so next time I’ll need to bring tools.
