I think it’d been about 7 years since I’d shot this thing. I felt so old school shooting a .45.

How well does the Glock 30 handle for you?

I’ve always thought the 21 and 30 were very soft shooters for .45’s and I enjoy shooting them. They’re fat, but if I had to carry one I wouldn’t complain.

Did you ever try the Glock 30s or Glock 41?

There is something about .45 cal Glocks that has always intrigued me.

I had a 30S when they were first released, but I didn’t think it shot nearly as well as a regular 30. It was quite a bit snappier.

I shot a 41 once...I don’t remember much about it, but I remember having a good impression of the gun.

My gen 5 G19 MOS with the Trijicon RMR.

Learning RMR is certainly a process for me.

What is bedeviling me is not so much the draw to first shot, I used to shoot USPSA open years ago, so the draw to index thing is not entirely new. However that 2011 open gun almost did not move at all shot to shot, the dot never disappeared. Of course not completely so on G19 RMR. I can see many errors I am making, but I am enjoying the learning experience. Finished up the session with a Rangemaster Instructor Q course, 94.5% so not quite up to that standard yet. I won't carry this thing until I can pass that on demand.

10 rd at 25y, the MSP logo is B-8 size. The 2020 grip texture is slicker then it looks. Needs stippling or grip tape, especially high up on the sides.

Added in SLR Rifle works mag well to the GEN five Glock 23. Ran 10-10-10 x3. The pinky support was not Comfortable but definitely helped control
