EMC and I packed up a bunch of guns and gear, and headed down to the North Springs range near Price, UT for some long range practice. If you follow some of the Long Range Shooters of Utah channel on youtube, you will see this range in their videos.
The small targets, on the left side of the spotting scope image taken at 1000 yards, are steel "milk jugs" meant to simulate the targets they use in the milk jug challenge.
The 6x47L did great on the milk jugs , and it I was able to connect on the silhouette with the 223 and 6x47L.
They have some steel plates, which look to be 14x14", placed between 200 and 600 yards. With my old ML2 4MOA Aimpoint on a 16" AR, 90% hits were possible out to 400, beyond that it got a little tricky trying to figure out holdovers.
