    If those 3 out of the black are from string 3, I'd say your SHO/WHO skills are fantastic.

    Week 279: Vickers 300

    I was at the range trying some new Magtech 148 gr SWC with my .357 LCR so, I thought, why not:



    Scored 112 with strings of 65, 24, and 23. Yikes.

    WHO at 5 yds, my best string. Weird. Anyway, much improvement needed on my snubbie, obviously, but I have a benchmark.

    I’ve only shot this drill twice but I really like it and plan to add it to my regular practices.

    It is a difficult to shoot gun.

    WHO is often my best when shooting for precision slowly. I don’t think that is uncommon.

    You need to get a firm feel for
    The sight picture at various distances with various ammunition. For some reason I see a lot of variation in elevation in my LCR.
