Brought the family to the range today. My wife and I both work there pt so the employees and members were excited to see them.

The VZ grips came in right before we left as well.

She definitely prefers shooting with the pachymers but loves how the VZs look. Her sheild has blue aluminum parts added on as well so they kinda match.Attachment 28502

She's never shot revolvers before so DA fire was new for her but she did relatively good. Better than a lot of people shooting DA revolvers for the first time. The DA trigger on this 15 is phenomenal.

I wanted to verify the zero with 130 grain +p Winchester Rangers.

To celebrate my wife giving birth to our son last week I ordered her a 15-3 nickle plated 2 inch combat masterpiece from GunBroker and a holster for it from Privateer Leather that just happened to be in stock and they both showed up today. I shot it today and shot a good for me 25 yard target, especially with a 2" gun. Great action. The nickle is in need of polishing but looks great otherwise.

That's one damned excellent revolver. I'm so old school, when I began my career, we were issued the Model 15. Within a few years, we had transitioned to semis. But the Model 15 was an excellent weapon.

You've made a fantastic choice.
