I'd suggest exercising the "No" option. Even more so if they're about to be (or are currently) orphaned, sans aftermarket support. In my opinion, there are far better things to throw $700+ about the landscape for (such as training and ammunition for existing, vetted platforms).
Back in the day, I had a Browning BDM. While it wasn't a bad, or inaccurate gun per se, it was a bit of an outlier, and discontinued and subsequently blown out by Browning. A clue was when Novaks refused to work on them, or upgrade the OEM polymer rear sight...
I subsequently sold it to a friend, a high-volume shooter who put thousands of rounds through it, but it eventually broke beyond repair (and least beyond reasonably fiscally prudent repair).
From a collector standpoint, I can see a bit of a draw for the Hudsons, but from a realistic use standpoint, meh.
