Additionally, the P320-M17 comes with night sights, while the G34 Gen 5 just has the plastic dovetail protectors.
Ah, I was looking at the collector's edition. The regular version seems par.

I’m gonna pick one up eventually. It will be my sole/only 320.

Here's the actual limited edition version. It appears to already be sold out even though not yet shipping.

I guess I wouldn't mind having one. However the regular civilian M17 is the one to buy. It is less expensive and will have little or no collector's value. It will therefore be something to shoot and enjoy.

$825 is a lot better than I expected. In that case the regular version shouldn't be too hard a pill to swallow.

Is the type of magazines (i assume the collector edition comes with 4) the only difference between the two versions?

Nevermind. I read the description. The collector edition comes with 3 magazines (1 17 round), cool packaging, and a UID. I may buy the cheaper version with no safety.

The collector version also comes with FDE controls, where the civilian version comes with black controls. Not that it would matter to me, but it would matter to some.

I'm also not sure why they decided to go with black controls on the civilian version...

It's SIG. Be glad they didn't go with rainbow diamond plate...
