    Or bowling pins.

I had two, sold one but the other is a keeper. Still wearing the Tasco PDP3 from when I won the PA stock gun championship with it. Yes, a dot on a revolver was considered stock.

Mine will only shoot jacketed bullets, but it shoots them very well.

I would so love to shoot pins but have never found a match anywhere in N. Texas.

Could be a window of opportunity to organize one?

Or perhaps ask around of people running matches and see if they get enough response to get some going.

Good ol lead slugs and my older vernier mic say they’re .4545 to .455.

An N-frame is it's own reason.

Why'd you need it? Because N-frame.
What will you do with it? N-frame things.

    etc etc.

    Indeed.

    Why'd you need it?
Because it reminds you of a time when giants strode the earth.

What will you do with it?
Manly things, in a manly way.

It is important to match bullet diameter to bore diameter.
The old 25s all had large throats but bores run .451-.452. Rifling grooves are very shallow on these guns.
The forcing cone is gonna get a helluva workout with cast bullets much over .454.
I get good results with .452 cast bullets and modest loads.
The new Starline .45 Auto Rim brass is excellent for cast bullets FWIW.

If you're up for a drive there's one in Duncan, OK.

The bore slugs .451 (thank goodness the 25-2 has an even number of grooves).

There’s a group buy discussion over on the castboolits forum for a MiHec .45 HBWC mold that I hope will get enough interest to make it to production. An HB should be just the ticket for oversized throats.
