    Shot in the face with a .45

    I got a lot out of this. What a story. Many, many lessons here for me.

    I have heard most of the info before, but hearing it in this format really drove it home.

    Thanks for sharing. A worthwhile view (there’s a longer version as well) and reiterated well on the whole timer vs switch dynamic.

    I remember reading about this incident a few years back and thinking “Damn, that officer is one tough SOB”.
    “Conspiracy theories are just spoiler alerts these days.”

    Watching that was well worth the time.
    Great commentary on mindset and the physical reactions to getting shot.
    I’ve read plenty on both, but Reston’s succinct, personal insights were invaluable.

    I’ve watched that video twice. I hope to train with Jared in the immediate future!
