It looks like TWO different AR mag well designs in the photos. The first picture looks like an adaptor in a 7.62 FAL mag well, and the other two pictures look like a solid milled lower. Neither appeared to work for shit.

They are the local FAL to 5.56 conversion, but unlike the FNC, the early ones retained most of the FAL's original operating system, just scaled down to 5.56. The Belgian's tried that too and found it didn't work, hence why the FNC is basically a really nice AK.
The US in a few categories is an extremely fucked up place.
In many other categories I am damn glad I'm here and not somewhere like Brazil. Shithole doesn't begin to describe some places.
