I haven't shot a lot of FAST this year but I'm working on getting comfortable with it using a 1911. I shot it twice with the 9mm Operator and then once with the LB Operator (.45). The LBO's magazine release is still pretty stiff and I struggled to get that mag dropped.
Neither of the two with the 9mm were clean due to four dropped below the 3x5 in a remarkable group. I didn't warm up on 3x5s etc and I was lollypoppin' it in my sight picture.

I have noticed with some surprise at first that for hitting the low probability target twice, the lighter recoil of the 9mm doesn't seem to be much advantage for me.
I can only get those two hits so fast and its probably determined more by my vision of the sights and speed at which I can execute good presses and not by recoil management.
On the longer string to the high probability target I do see the 9mm advantage.
This pretty much matches a lot of experience getting hits like that on tight targets this year.
