    For agencies sim rounds are the way to go, but most regular joes are not going to be able to justify the cost. This is where airsoft comes in, enabling average guys to do very useful FOF training.

    I use it to practice a draw and first DA shot to simulate my 92 EliteII pistol. It works exactly like a real 92. Slide , decocker/safety, lock back on empty mag, shoots DA and SA. The CO2 and BBs are in the mag so it is pretty close to the weight of a loaded 9mm mag. Trigger is about equal to a 92 w/ a D spring. Of course the reduced cost is nice but the best thing is I can practice in my basement shooting at cardboard boxes. The somewhat similar pellet gun is junk. Had one and threw it in the trash after about 5 weeks.
