    Par Time Mp3

    Hey all,

I've noticed here and on other sites, that alot of newer shooters don't have shot-timers. I can empathize, since I left my timer in the states.

To help with my dry-fire practice, I created an Mp3 using garage band with 2 beeps, 2 secs apart, separated by a random (4-6 sec) interval. I use this sometimes when I dry-fire to get an idea of how fast or slow everything is going.

I can't attach it here, but I uploaded it here in case anyone thinks it might be useful.

FYI, in the romper room iPhone apps thread, someone posted about the Surefire Shot-timer app, which is free, and seems to work well, so thats another (free) option.

    Hope this helps.

I do too, great app, but haven't had a chance to get to the range yet. The only problem I have, with dry-fire specifically, is that it won't pick up the hammer dropping unless its about a foot away from the gun. This is probably just because my iPhone is 'well loved', though.
