USPSA modified high hit factors on classifiers

In my opinion, this change was a long coming for a few reasons:
    1. PCC was broken using open hhf.
    2. Some classifiers were too easy for hhf and some were too hard. Hopefully they found more balance based on actual data.

The majority of the ones I plugged in seemed to have a higher hhf now, including a lot of classics like el pres. I think overall it’s going to be much harder to hit GM, and a lot of people who are Gm now, especially those who are barely over the 95% mark, likely wouldn’t be under the new hhf’s. I looked at my recent classifiers to see if I would have made it, and I think I would have barely scraped in. Here are my recent counting classifiers:

The first number is the new score, the second number (in parenthesis) is the old score.

    99-22 93.29 (94.72)
    99-16 100 (100)
    09-03 99.9 (100)
    08-03 90.227 (99.36)
    06-04 89.39 (100)
    09-04 88.43 (98.37)
    99-10 81.46 (86.51)
    13-05 99.58 (100)
    09-13 92.73 (90.4%)

My current avg would drop from 99.55% to about 98%, but that’s only because several classifiers would have dropped below 90% and wouldn’t count. Two got slightly easier (13-05 and 09-13).

Heh, just shot 13-05 in this week's match. I didn't do as well as I would have liked, but I guess the result was slightly better than I previously thought - instead of slightly below middle of my class, it looks like it'll be very slightly above middle of my class. It's not much, but eh, I'll take it.

I shot Baseball Standards last night. I shot it pretty good - 97 HF, my personal record. According to the old system it would be 80.83% in Production. Now - 100%.

My practice classifier yesterday was CM99-10 Times Two. I shot 56 points in 6.63s, which was 93.6% by the old system and is now only 88.2%. Looks like I've got some more work to do to get my G card...

That one has always felt easier to do well on than a lot of others for me, which probably means it needed a higher HHF in order to be "right."
