My posts only represent my personal opinion and do not necessarily reflect the opinions or official policies of any employer, past or present. Obvious spelling errors are likely the result of an iPhone keyboard.

Congratulations! Glad you got a line so quick. I've been out eight months and I'm going nuts. Planned on having something by now. Was hoping for FLETC, have three apps active, but their hiring process, to borrow from Churchill, seems to be a riddle, wrapped inside a mystery in an enigma! Good luck. And I'll take bored and looking for work over back and my old place any day.

One of the reasons why this initial process goes so fast is due to the rest of the background process taking about six months. Consequently, they want someone in the pipeline as quickly as possible. Hence, needing to go in December because that's when I can expect to get the call on the new gig. I'd considered taking a little time off before I went on the job hunt, but I can't let this opportunity slip by.

Not yet, don't want to jinx it. Nothing terribly exciting or high speed.
