    OWB Kydex: slots or loops?

I’m looking at Kydex OWB holsters and seeing most with bolted-on loops but some with milled slots:

Advantages/disadvantages of each? I’m guessing that loops give you some adjustability(cant) and that slots may help pull the edges in tighter, but I have no experience with either.

There's nothing civil about this war.

One disadvantage with those particular slots woukd be they are integral to the holster body and if they ever break the holster is broken.

I've been making my ClingOn holster for 0ver 10 years. It's nearly identical to the slotted holster pictured above. In fact I had to take a very close look at that picture to make sure it wasn't one of mine.

Any way, In those 10 + years I have exactly 2 of several hundred ClingOns returned for warranty replacement, and those were very early in the design and the reason I updated the design.

Properly built, That design will last a lifetime.
