Same here. My G19.5 looks exactly like that. 1,400 rounds so far. Still stupid accurate.

It may well be due same hardnesses rubbing each other. That causes wear issues.

Fortunately, both the barrel and slide are melonited. I've not witnessed these types of marks on Melonite on Melonite with Glocks, however we KNOW the slides have a polymeric coating so there's that.

While I do not LIKE the fact that it shows wear I'm not concerned.
