These folks have mapped a 3m x 3m grid on the whole planet and given each square a unique 3-word address, in multiple languages. Interesting. Of course, because there’s no defined relationship between squares, it’s useless without GPS and a smartphone. So most useful in poorly mapped areas with good cell coverage?
