Check out the above link for example pics. Notice the foam wedge near the muzzle. That pushes the muzzle away from your pelvis and the grip into your gut. Try different sizes to figure out what works best for your body type. The linked holster also has a wing claw and “belt wedge” that also help push the grip in.

Looks like his site gives a pretty good description of AIWB features.
    Thanks!

    I appreciate it.

    Excellent!

I will grab some scrap 3M tape and some foam on my way home tomorrow and do some playing around this weekend and see what effect it has.

    I appreciate it.

Just wanted to give an update.

I went with the George from JM Custom. Put it on with my old 1.25 leather pistol belt and it actually worked pretty good in a loose fitting T-shirt. She asked what the thread locker was for and I said "My new holster" and she said, "Where is it?" and I said "I am wearing it" and her eyes kept going back and forth on my belt line and she said "Where?" and I said, "Awesome!".

This was without the wedge and with a holster that isn't ideal.

I think the wedge is a little big for me, but I can always trim it to fit and I probably should have gone with the split loop since I am carrying it right between 12 and 1 and I can just as well undo my belt and thread it as snap it on. I'll order one after I get my Graith Specialist belt in.

I still want to try out a G43/43X/48 at some point but it will be a want rather than a need it seems.

I appreciate the help and input!

I also meant to mention and forgot that I used it for about 2 hours while mowing the yard.

My yard is like mowing the King of Hammers race course so it was definitely a good workout on comfort while sitting. My yard is about an acre and a half of all hill with lots and lots and lots of bumps and grooves and bone jarring low spots if you aren't careful.

There is a lake at the bottom and it never fails, if I am not armed, I will see a muskrat or other non-desirable varmint with no way to do anything. So I try to have something on me when mowing.

The George has been the most comfortable holster I have tried to date.

I’m relatively new to AIWB. I am not comfortable with a SA or striker fired pistol (even w gadget). I purchased a SiG P225a1 and a Keeper’s Concealment Keeper. Very comfortable and disappears under a polo shirt. I also got a JMCK George for a 3” S&W Model 640. Ditto on concealment and comfort.

The 640 is my house gun and the 225a1 is when I’m at the office or otherwise out. If I’m wearing a tucked in shirt, I go back to my S&W M&P 2.0 in a strong side Dale Fricke OWB. Generally covered with a vest or sport coat.

The 225a1 was good to go out of the box, although I’ll probably send it to Gray Guns for a carry trigger job.

I am 5'10 and a relatively fit 160-165; I don't have an issue concealing a G19 in a normally-cut mens medium T-shirt. What belt and holster are you using?

If you go for a smaller gun, try a 26, 43 or Shield/ M&P Compact, but I wouldn't buy a new gun when belts/holsters for the gun you already own are cheaper.
I haven’t read through the thread yet but will later. I have some advice for AIWB from my lean self. I’m 6’1”, 185lbs , exercise and stay in my old “Marine Corp” shape. I AIWB a Beretta Compact Carry daily mostly wearing a t shirt. The key to successful AIWB on a lean frame is having a large pad on the holster bottom jamming the pistol butt into your body wearing a rigid endlessly adjustable belt. I wear an instructor belt with the buckle left of center as the pistol is right of center.

If I use a large pad it looks like I am really happy to be wherever I am.

I trimmed the one I got with the holster down some last night and it helped quite a bit. I am going to check it out with my Graith Specialist when it comes in before trimming more.

I also think I am going to order a IWB #3.

I found a DB Bullard Dual Carry leather holster with a 25° rake that my brother had given me years ago. It was difficult draw from (drag) and put on (metal clips), but did a good job pulling the G19 up tight to the back side of my hip and it was nearly invisible, even with my shirt pulled tight against my side.

So I think I am going to invest in a JMK IWB #3 with the same rake and see how it performs.

I’m usually pretty happy where ever I am so it works out fine with me.

I mostly carry the JM Custom Kydex Wing Claw 2.5. The wing claw is a huge help being slim waisted as it cants the butt end into the abs.

I also self crafted a De Santis Nemesis pocket that I super glued a foam base onto that I carry AIWB. No one handed holstering but it stays in place really well, conceals really well and is a great option for throwing in shorts for quick runs to the store, etc

Bad news, carrying my G19 in a AIWB is freaking obvious even wearing oversized pants and shirt. My wife told me I might as well just wear it OWB.

I tried her G42 and it worked but I quote from her "It's MINE" so I will have to get myself a G42 or something else.

    So here is the question:

Go with a G42 for myself or is there a better holster/carry location option for the G19 or is there a better option for carry weapon (G43, Shield 2.0, etc)?

Other options I am missing like a nice single stack DA/SA that will hide decently?

    For reference, I am 5'11", 135'ish.
Howdy, I'm 5'9", 150 and exclusively use the Tenicor Velo for my 19 and 43. You're slimmer than I am but this is what I've found works best for me. FWIW, I wear a medium shirt and size 28-30" slim pants and do not print at all. Regarding the pistol, I love my 19 and 43. I plan on passing my 43 to my girlfriend for a 43X eventually. A good belt also helps, a lot. Check these out when you have a chance:

    https://tenicor.com/collections/fron...o-aiwb-holster
    https://www.graithusa.com/shop/specialist2

Those two items really made it possible for me to not worry about printing at all. Try the Tenicor, if you don't like it the company will accept it for a full refund.
