Zev tech pro trigger for gen 4 Glock 34

I have a friend who is considering buying a ZEV PRO Trigger 9mm Curved Face Upgrade Ultimate Kit 4th a Gen 4 Glock 34.

I think this is what he is looking at: http://www.zevtechnologies.com/PRO-C...en-9mm-Blk-Red

    I don't follow these things.

I could swear that I heard something about them not being drop safe.

    Any thoughts?

    thanks

Here's a thread about problems reholstering due a pin walking out... not necessarily ZEV specific, but worth noting.

There was a thread or blog post where one was going off when dropped. I'm having trouble finding the discussion here, but: http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2...not-drop-safe/ Looks like the video is down.

If I were going to recommend an aftermarket Glock trigger it would be the Overwatch Precision units.

I have heard the Overwatch is good, but if someone wanted my recommendation for an after market Glock trigger, I would suggest that they buy another brand pistol instead!
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.

Touché. Although isn't "hey its a day that ends in y" a recommendation for you to buy a new pistol? [he said, jealously]

That said, I'm sympathetic, the 34.4 I've got has to be one of the worst stock Glock triggers I've felt. The Overwatch NP3'd (-) connectors are nice, too.

I will never buy anything from Zev ever again. They didn’t stand behind their products and I ended up throwing away a few $100 in parts. Not cool.

Agree 100%. Anecdotal, but I know 2 other USPSA shooters who got burned by junk Zev parts and bad CS.

Just don't do that. Keep Glock fire control parts stock.

Go over to Enos forum and read up on Zev. A lot of guys like them but almost all of them have issues with them eventually not working. The Zev kits tend to take the gun to the absolute operational limits and then with a little bit of wear need replaced or maintained.
