Maybe “working man” in the sense of “working girl.”

People absolutely have the right to spend it, but it's still reasonable to tease them.
Careful. One could say with equal validity that the fit and finish quality of a WC 1911 offers no tangible & measurable performance benefit over a Springfield TRP or DW Specialist ,both of which sell for half as much.

Ultimately any firearm purchase above $400 involves a degree of personal preference, and I for one think there’s room for the $3000 1911 guy and the $3,000 striker gun fan too.

Cheese grater effect if you have to beat someone with it.

Alternatively also if you need to grate cheese with it.

This gun is goofy and pointless, but I think that's already been said 30 times.

Excellent point and it's faster. I like to combine cheese grating and SHO practice.

The amount of gun-mod retardation seems to be increasing. I subscribe to a few FB gun groups and constantly cringe at the crazy shit people do to their weapons. Guns as art?

Joe Chambers makes a working mans gun, but it’s a $4k+ custom 1911.

Clearly I’m in the wrong line of work.

Anyone can afford anything if they save and truly want it. My income isn’t “Earth shattering”... but I’ve still managed to buy many guns that were more expensive than the Costa pistol. It’s about saving and paying attention (and being responsible with your money). When you start going into debt over guns like this, there’s a problem. When you save and pay cash, I don’t have an issue
