I think Mr. Costa may be operating with a different definition of the words "working man" than the commonly-understood one.

What's wrong with an SCD equipped 19X as a "working man's gun"?

What’s the purpose of leaving the top finger groove in place and smoothing out that part of the front strap instead of stippling it?

Another Agency Arms type “Glock”. I am mystified by the market for these. I good friend of mine has an AA G19, and it’s a nice gun, I guess? I’m not into modded Glocks or spending $2000 on one.

I find Costa pretty entertaining from some perspectives. The insanely expensive customized guns is one of them. I really like the STI Costa guns just for funsies. The absurd M&Ps, the insane Glocks, it strikes me as utterly absurd and I like to think that Costa knows that. He strikes me as a guy who is basically like, "Dude, I was in the Coast Guard and then trained people to drive boats and I looked cool in a Magpul video - now I'm famous and I'll capitalize on it."

There are some other guys out there, currently, who are more absurd, but actually believe the stuff they are spewing out there. Some of whom I think are doing more harm than good. Like folks teaching knife tactics on stationary, compliant, pupils, who have never used a knife in anger...but have SF credentials that they are using to justify their crap curricula.
