I made a DUI arrest in the lobby of the Sheriff's Office. It's one of three arrest total I have made in the lobby. One other was a woman who came to file a complaint... against a different agency that had executed a search warrant on her residence. I knew they had taken out an arrest warrant on her; so, I arrested her. The other was an irate woman who was given the opportunity to leave and then tried to attack one of the office ladies.
Those are both topped by the guy who ran up to one of our deputies and admitted to child molestation. The mother had found out, and dude was in legit fear and decided our jail and prison was safer than facing the mother.
I had an ER nurse in a class. I noticed she kept taking all head shots. Her response when asked why, "'I've seen too many people who have been shot in the chest putting up a fight in the ER." Point taken.

If it was my mom, he's absolutely right. I was almost kidnapped as a kid and my mom came sprinting out of the house with a shotgun.
