Aimpoint just dropped ACRO P-1 MRDS!

I’m contemplating buying one and probably will soon. I noticed when checking prices that a vp9 plate looks available to order. Is that some sort of dovetail mount or do we think the vp9 or is being released here soon? I remember speculation it would be out at the last shot.

The optics ready VP9 has been a week or two away for the last year, but who knows about at NRA?

I was talking more about the size of the optic. That window looks clear and nice! Great shooting btw, I only have about 1300 rounds through rds equipped glocks right now but am fully invested in the concept.

Ignore my friend, YVK, as months ago he decided the Acro was no good, and continues to double down over and over on his original bet.

A few thoughts. I wish the adjustment screw had slightly more tension as it moves looser than I am accustomed to. I wish they used a flat blade or Phillips slot for adjustment, rather than a less common torx bit. When my wife was slingshotting the slide, she managed to dim the dot as her fingers touched the down arrow button. You will want to grab the front of the optic rather than the left side to avoid this.

The rear edge of the Acro “mailbox” will certainly be a print point for many.

I spent some time pointing the Acro at a lower sun angle and it seemed better than some other optics I have tried this with.

Correction: I didn't decide ACRO was no good. I decided it had a 30% smaller window than RMR and the same size window as T-1. Tell me I was wrong.
