While there may be "a" way to direct mount an ACRO to an MOS, it's going to be suboptimal.

A Glock factory cut for an ACRO like the factory RMR and DPP cuts could work.

You could trade the MOS slides back to Glock without violating 49 CFR since they just parts.

I wonder if there’s a way of creating a lower profile plate using the MOS cut - almost like a bikini cut. I’m talking out my ass since I’ve never seen an ACRO in real life…

I don’t think there is enough metal left to do that. The ACRO plates already allow the optic to sit low since it works like a 1913 or weaver mount.

I think that in two or three years, plates will be a memory.

That’s interesting. Could you expand on this thought?

Does anyone other than Brownells make direct-mount Gen 3 G19/G17 slides for the ACRO? I'm not finding anything, but I might just be missing something.

Wouldn't it be lots less expensive to have one of the trusted vendors direct mill your Gen 3 OEM slide instead of buying a new one?

I don't have OEM slides for these guns. I built them up from stripped factory frames.

Nice. Now’s the time to pick up a couple VP9 optic plates. Learned my lesson with Agency’s availability & HK optic plate #2
