Frank Proctor MOS mounting plate for RMR/Holosun

I just saw Frank Proctor has another option for MOS users. It is designed thick enough for suppressor height sights to not obscure most of the window. $60.

On a display that is large, like the SRO, I hardly notice BUIS, but on the RMR for example, BUIS can make a small display effectively smaller. I wonder if the best way to address this is by a thicker plate or shorter iron sights?

I think shorter sights would be ideal, but this is an easy solution for people who don't want to experiment with different sight heights. I'm not sure I buy that the 1.4 oz. plate effectively reduces felt recoil...

Generally I would consider that marketing BS, but three ounces in a G23 slide sure seems to make a difference.

In this new video up on IG Frank goes into detail about his reasons for his design as well as thoughts on BUIS and a few other tangents including head up head position.
