    Hi Erick,

It was two weeks for me. I dropped it off at the shop, and they had it back in my hands two weeks later, including the on-premise Cerakote they did on the milled slide.

The Cerakote turned out great, by the way.

They do give priority to active-duty military and lEO's on scheduling. If you wish, I'll be happy to PM you some contact info.

Who made those 3d-printed stands? Those look super slick.

    Friend of mine makes them,
https://www.bigtexoutdoors.com/produ...display-stand/ has some more pictures. If you're interested in other colors, you can hit my friend up at Jeeves915@gmail.com, not sure what custom colors cost. It's pretty lightweight, being ABS and all, but it seems to hold up my heavy-ass handgun just fine. Some mild assembly required, two screws that attach the magazine insert into the stand.

Aimpoint Acro P-1 and mount for M17

New to this forum. I just received the Acro P-1 and correct mounting plate for my Sig M17. The screws stripped when I installed it. Apparently the plate is designed wrong and the screws are too small. Just passing this on - calling Aimpoint on Monday.............

I love this damn thing. Was able to zero it at 25 yards after being mounted to the Gen 5 17 MOS. First range trip with it was able to hold this group with two 19 round magazines at 15 yards rapid fire.

I just put my ACRO on an AR using the Reptilia lower 1/3 cowitness. I haven't taken the combo to the range yet but I think it will work fine.

Wouldn’t a T series Aimpoint be a more appropriate choice for a rifle?

Or an H series. As a primary optic a T or H would be the way to go. As a close range backup sight to a magnified optic (what the RMR was originally designed for) I can see the Acro over the micro.

The ACRO should work about as well as anything I expect. Lighter and smaller than the H or T and hopefully about as tough.

Trade offs are a 3.5" dot and a fairly short battery life.

Should be, in theory, quite suitable for both rifle and pistol. One type of battery to keep in the range bag. One series or buttons to get used to, etc. Only one manual of arms, if you will.

For ultimate red dot durability the M4 is probably king. Tougher aluminum housing and AA battery for easy purchase and long life.
