    Looks the same to me, I’m on the original post and it doesn’t mention that this is the new or prototype model. Steve Fisher did say a new model was coming soon though

    That looks more like a pre production model of the original ACRO.

    Looks close enough to me. I’m not very familiar with the iterative design changes the Acro has undergone and the only ones I’ve seen had a + pattern battery cap.

    As soon as they come out with a 2032 version, this one will be sold.

    If they change batteries it’s more likely they will go from 1225s to 1632.

    Pretty sure, at least the the prototype new model, uses 2032 batteries.

    That assertion first surfaced here 442 days... or 63 weeks... or 14.49 months... or 1.2 years... or about 12 ACRO battery changes ago.

    Just kidding. But, one might think some progress has been made since then. That is rather glacial progress for a “simple battery change”. But I’m sure it’s not quite that simple.

    I’d rather change 12 ACRO batteries than remount one RMR..
