The Revolver Enabler is Hoisted by Her Own Petard

I just picked up this 6" 27-2 at my LGS.

I was seriously considering a Mini-14 that was on consignment, as y'all know. But when I added in getting enough magazines and stocking up on ammo, that was going to run over what this gun cost. And I already have holsters for it (I have a similarly-sized Model 29. Not P&R'd, but I'll live.

(Besides, I don't shoot rifles very often anymore.)

TT, TH, red ramp. I expect it'll be a pussycat to shoot.

Sweet! We expect to see some targets soon, what with the long weekend and such.

Excellent revolver, likely would balance perfectly with a pair of magna grips and a Tyler T-grip. I have that setup on both my 3.5" and 8 3/8" Model 27's and it just feels "right."

Congrats Stephanie, that would be 750 correct. That's only 50 more than I had to pay for my 4 inch 28-2 last year here in South Florida. I can't complain though as it looked unfired and had S&W GA targets but no box or papers. Sorry I can't do pictures.

I know you will enjoy shooting that one.

Nice buy. A 3 1/2" blue 27 is on my list, as is a 4" 29. My list isn't getting any shorter, no thanks to certain forum members.

    Correct.

I suspect in some other parts of the country, it would’ve been snapped off the shelves in a matter of days.

I also picked up some speed loaders, so I am GTG.
