Interesting observation, and "supported" by my own experience, as I somehow have both more 1911s and more snubbies than any other types of handguns, and this over a period of decades, that is, it's a long term pattern.
Since they're altogether different pistols in operation and have separate and distinct histories of invention, as well as quite different weights & sizes, it's rather odd that they seem to accumulate together for some of us.
What's the connection?
"Therefore, since the world has still... Much good, but much less good than ill,
And while the sun and moon endure, Luck's a chance, but trouble's sure,
I'd face it as a wise man would, And train for ill and not for good." -- A.E. Housman
I joined imwithroscoe.com, and literally within minutes of me ordering the pamphlet on line, the mail came in with a nice package from them, including, among other things, the pamphlet. All that to say, the first of my fellow snub aficionados to call dibs in this thread can have my spare when it gets here.
Perhaps I am reliving my childhood.
Anybody got a 1965 Chevelle SS for sale?
ETA: J/K about the car, cause I spent the car fund on the last J-Frame. For some perverse reason I decided I needed a 360PD and they cost as much as a car. Pretty sure I just paid more for that revolver than I paid for the Chevelle in 1974...
