Glock Gen 5 sights - need help with da maths....

    Hey folks,

I have a new G17 Gen 5. The stock front sight height is .195, the rear is .255. This combo gives me a POI about 2.5 inches high at 25 Yards when using the top edge of the front sight as my POA.

My preferred sight picture is to drive the dot. I quite like Dawson’s so I am wondering what sight height combo will give me POA/POI, driving the dot at 25 Yards?

Any help with the math on this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for that! Didn’t know they had that on their site. So I put in the data and it spit out a front sight height of.212. Problem is, I don’t know if that is a top of the sight POA or drive thr dot POA.

Whatever sight picture you are using, POI will will be lowered the same amount. Doesn't matter if it's a 6 O' clock, "drive the dot", traditional POA/POI where top of sights are level with desired POI, etc.
