Hey folks,
I have a new G17 Gen 5. The stock front sight height is .195, the rear is .255. This combo gives me a POI about 2.5 inches high at 25 Yards when using the top edge of the front sight as my POA.
My preferred sight picture is to drive the dot. I quite like Dawson’s so I am wondering what sight height combo will give me POA/POI, driving the dot at 25 Yards?
Any help with the math on this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for that! Didn’t know they had that on their site. So I put in the data and it spit out a front sight height of.212. Problem is, I don’t know if that is a top of the sight POA or drive thr dot POA.Originally Posted by HopetonBrown

Seriously they are very helpful.
Whatever sight picture you are using, POI will will be lowered the same amount. Doesn't matter if it's a 6 O' clock, "drive the dot", traditional POA/POI where top of sights are level with desired POI, etc.
