Surefire XH 30 1,000 Lumen WML

    The rumors are now reality:

Surefire is showing the XH30, a 1,000 lumen WML with a conventional hot spot as opposed to the diffused Maxvision beam of the XH35. Supposed to be shipping late summer.

Thank the maker. I was quite disappointed when I turned on my xh35. Unless you’re posted up on cover the splash hits you and I’m not a fan. The x300u went right back on the rifle.

Are these compatible with existing X300U holsters ?

For most, especially Kydex they are not. There are 2 switches on the bottom that stick out pretty far. I didn’t try it on an ALS since I got it for a rifle. I’ll try it tomorrow.

I wonder if that is Surefire’s way of trying to get you to buy the holster they are peddling for this.

Completely different market for that holster. It's not made for duty use.

Lol! Who knows why they do what they do. They stopped making lights in tan right as Streamlight started. Now they realize that was an error and are advertising Scout lights in tan again.

And it doesn’t fit in my ALS holster. This is as far as it will go and that’s after pushing past some resistance.

Have you guys found the X300 Ultra to be insufficient?

It works but my eyes aren’t getting any younger. I’m generally in the “MOAR LUMENS!” Camp but I am not a fan of the Maxvision beam for w WML.
