So per LAV’s Facebook and Instagram, Glock has released an extended factory 9mm mag holding 24 Rounds.
Apparently it is currently availible in South Africa.

Bet a PF dollar Glock brought it out for the new Ruger carbine.
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.
I wonder how long it will take them to market it in the US.
Is there a specific reason for that number of rounds/mag length?
Perhaps 17 + 7 = 24 + 7 = 31 add floor plate +2 = 33
So this is midway between standard 17 rd mag and 31 round mag +floorplate = 33. Intermediate option?
Doesn't really add any info but FWIW:
https://eu.glock.com/en/products/glo...zines/mag_24rd
I think Bucky and HCM are on the money that it will be the same length as the 22rd .40. That eu.glock site also shows factory assembled G17 and G19 +2s, which seems like a no-brainer but I don't recall seeing them in the States. Drifting further off topic, but they apparently also have their polymer single mag pouch in G42 and G43 variants (edited to add: old news but new to me--I see them available at a few sites, may pick one up for 43).

I'm down for a dozen.

My first thought was that it was the longest they could make it and still fit the gauge for competition use.
